“Let me tell you, it happens all the time, Phil. You know, when you’re homeless, folks think that they can do anything they like with your property. It’s like we don’t even exist. ‘Course, then people wonder why homeless people stink after they gotta rescue their stuff from the garbage.”

Including the police and municipal “authorities” in BC anyway. The society has a real problem with Love your neighbour.

I’m glad you got it back…would’ve really sucked to lose it. People have a real lack of respect for other’s property these days. Someone actually pulled up to my Dad’s driveway and stole all his hanging flower baskets that we’d bought him for Father’s Day. Now that’s bad.
