PHILIP
“I saw that they’re calling for rain for two days starting Wednesday morning.”
TONY
“Oh boy, well it gets me shivering just thinking about it. You know, it’s sometimes just better just to have it snow even when it’s cold too. It looks nicer, that’s one thing that’s for sure.”
PHILIP
“How are you?”
TONY
“I had a god-awful time getting out here this morning with this rain, rain and more rain.”
PHILIP
“Me too. Well, I guess it’s not the same exactly, is it? Sorry.”
TONY
“Well, you know what they say; everyone’s got their problems, so I know what you mean, if you know what I mean.”
PHILIP
“It looks like it’s going to rain.”
TONY
“If you think about it, it’s gotta to rain sometimes.”
PHILIP
“So how are you liking the rain?”
TONY
“Are you kidding? You gotta be sorry for the kids. I can tell you, when I was a kid, we always had snow for Christmas. Of course, we didn’t have global warming back then, if you know what I mean.”
TONY
“Sometimes I wonder what I’m doing out here when it’s raining like this. Then I remember that I won’t get a bed tonight unless I get myself another six bucks.”
TONY
“All this rain we’ve been having is getting me down.”
