TONY (to passerby)
Pardon me ma’am, I’m trying to get something for breakfast. Might you be able to spare some change for me?”
PASSERBY
“I’m sorry, I can’t. I would if I could.”
TONY
“No problem. By any chance, would you have any Advil on you?”
PASSERBY
“Oh yes. I’ve been getting a lot of headaches this week.
“Here you go, there’s six of them.”
TONY
“Thanks very much. I’ve got a few already, so I’ll have these for later.”

Hi Tony and Phil
Just wanted to tell you, and pardon me if I’ve said it already.. but
thanks to you 2, I now often talk with homeless people. If I see someone I first take out some money, then approach them, and chat a little. (unless of course I feel the person could be dangerous due to illness etc.) But I’ll tell them my name and then ask for theirs and converse a little. It’s worked quite well.
So seeing the homeless is much more human and humane now. Nobody should be invisible, we all have our stories, exciting or ordinary that they may be, they’re all relevant and valuable no matter which side of the glass ‘fence’ we’re standing on at that particular time in our life journey, here.
Ain’t that the truth 🙂
All the best..
